We were first introduced to the concept of Open Working in December 2023 when our CEO Martin Avila suggested that Hannah apply to join Third Sector Lab’s Open Working & Reuse programme beginning in February 2024.
Like many organisations, we often struggle with effective communication, both internally within and between teams and the companies that make up CEIS Group and externally in terms of communicating our social impact and reflecting the people and projects behind the brand.
Whilst we all liked the principles that underpin Open Working, it took a while to really get our heads around how we would set about putting it into practice!
Once we began discussing plans for our 40th anniversary year, however, it quickly became clear that this would provide the ideal pilot project to test it out on a smaller scale before attempting to integrate the Open Working approach across the business.
